Progress Report 3

On Thursday Rohini, Nikki, Kunal, and me went to CEOP (Children Exploitation on Online Protection) in Pimcoli to interview our expert. Although we thought the journey would be long, it was pretty short and we got there on time even though we left late. They first took us on a tour of the building so we can decide where to shoot. We found a room with a table and computer and put the company logo and CEOP ‘Think you Know…’ poster in the background to represent the company. The interview was perfect-we managed to get information on everything we wanted and the tripod didn’t annoy us this time either! After that, we took a few pan shots of the environment in the company (People working in the office) in order to show that they are professionals. We also took a shot of the building form the outside, the reception, and the woman that we were going to interview working on her desk. We are going to use this to show that we are entering the building and to also introduce our expert. Afterwards we took some shots of words such as ‘paedophile’ and ‘sex offenders’ and the ‘Think you Know’ poster as it will question the audience as well as inform them about the company’s site. Luckily, we also got the chance to film the machines that track down any Internet pornography and the shot looks sooo good! The two ladies that we with us were reeeaally helpful and gave us more than we asked for. We were soooo happy in the end as we managed to get a lot of information and now we don’t have to interview that PC Priece guy, as he was no way as good as them! After this, we went to Victoria and Bond Street to take some shots outside some Internet cafes to show how popular they are. When the day for filming finished, me and Ro when to my house to do the log sheets.
